Biodiversity Offsets and Agreement Management System

The Biodiversity Offsets and Agreement Management System (BOAMS) is used by scheme participants to manage information and data throughout the various steps in the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme.

Accredited assessors

Accredited assessors use BOAMS to perform specific tasks related to the Biodiversity Assessment Method. This includes initiating cases in the Biodiversity Assessment Method Calculator (BAM-C) for assessments of credits and credit obligations and data submission.

Certain parts of BOAMS are only available to accredited assessors. Access is granted after receiving accreditation.

Accredited assessor access to BOAMS

Members of the public (community user)

Members of the public who are not accredited assessors or members of the department may use the Biodiversity Offsets and Agreements Management System (BOAMS) if they:

  • are a landholder who is a party to a development (case party) obligation (only the landholder case party to a development assessment case will be able to see credit obligations)
  • are a landholder wishing to list an expression of interest on the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme Credits Supply Register to create and sell biodiversity credits
  • wish to list wanted biodiversity credits.

If you are not an accredited assessor and want to register for access to BOAMS, please create a community user account

Accredited assessors sometimes create accounts for members of the public to log in to BOAMS as a community user. If an accredited assessor or the department has created an account for you and you wish to log in to BOAMS as a community user, to enable your account please email  [email protected].
